Heather Bunting is the senior counsellor at Possibilities for Change and she is passionate about working in the field of counselling, offering a client-centred approach welcoming all ages, cultures and the LGBTI community.
She is a proud mother and enjoys working with individuals, communities and groups.
Heather enjoys philosophy and reading, constantly developing her knowledge and skills in the field.
She is caring, empathic and provides a nurturing environment.
Having practiced mindfulness for over 30 years, Heather has the ability to listen attentively and offer strategies to aid in the reduction of stress and anxiety related issues.
She describes herself as follows:
“I am a non-judgemental, warm and compassionate counsellor who cares about helping people no matter what they bring. I have a keen understanding of family dynamics and find this can be beneficial in helping people make sense of their behaviour and habitual thought processes.”
I value these words a client once told me, “I trust Heather because she engages objectively and truthfully while being supportive and validating”.
